Vivianne Meistrich

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1920, she eloped at the age of 17 and married Harold Meistrich the love of her life in 1938. A resident of Oceanport since 1971,She worked for the Department of Army in Fort Monmouth N.J., retiring at age 72. Mrs. Meistrich loved playing bridge, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling.She was a life member of Hadassah, a longtime member of the Monmouth Civic Chorus and Congregation Bnai Israel in Rumson, N.J.She was predeceased by her loving husband Harold Meistrich and 4 sisters and 4 brothers.Surviving are his loving daughters and sons in-law Linda and Jerry Poling of Shrewsbury, N.J. , Shelley and Teddy Ibex of Oceanport, N.J. and her son David Meistrich of Huntersville, NC. ,her adored grandchildren Laura, David, Jennifer, Abbey and Zac. Her cherished great-grandchildren Emma, Connor, Vivianne and Jeremy. Services will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 2130 Highway 35, Ocean Township, N.J. today at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Bnai Israel Cemetery, Tinton Falls, N.J. Should friends desire contributions to your local food bank would be appreciated .
