Alfred Neale Lamb

Alfred Neale Lamb, 87, of Jesse passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Gary Nursing and Rehab. He was born January 16, 1928 in Jesse, WV. Neale served in the National Guard at Camp Polk, LA from 1950 until 1952. Afterward, he worked many years in Chicago as a draftsman before retiring to WV where he enjoyed reading and gardening. In addition to his parents, Drexal and Margie Workman Lamb, he was preceded in death by his sister, Romaine Mannier Lamb and brothers, Marvin Lamb, Alf Lamb and James Lamb. He is survived by sisters, Mildred Marshall of Mullens, Cathryn Munsey of Ormond Beach, FL, Clarice Rowe and husband, Marvin of Abingdon, VA, Margie Lee Pitzer of Auburn, AL and Wilda Lamb of Huntington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, February 16, 2015 at Evans Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny. Friends may call from 12 noon until time of service at the funeral home.
