Dillon Kyle Blankenship

Dillon Kyle Blankenship, 20, of Beckley passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Born December 27, 1993 in Beckley, WV, he was the son of Richard Blankenship of Lester and Dawn Bowles Blankenship of Beckley. Dillon enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing video games, working on cars, carpentry and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by an older brother, Cody Hanibal Blankenship. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dalton Tyler Blankenship of Tazewell, VA; maternal grandparents, Pete and Mary Prater of Tazewell, VA; paternal grandparents, LE and Gracie Blankenship of Lester; a nephew, Bentley Tyler Blankenship of Tazewell, VA; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Clear Fork Independent Church of God with the Rev. Hanibal Blankenship, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Blankenship Family Cemetery, Clear Fork. The family will receive friends from 1pm until time service Saturday at the church.
