

After graduation he enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard on July 21, 1942 and served courageously in WWII as Seamans First Class until his honourable discharge on October 12, 1945. Mr. Webb worked for Phillips Pet. For 35 yrs where upon retirement he held the position of relief-valve mechanic.
His three greatest passions were family, hobbies and church.
He was married to his loving wife Sarah Scallorn for 43 years; who preceded him in death. They raised and are survived by three children, Billy Webb of Pickliessem, Germany, Stephen Webb of Fisk, Missouri and Patsy Cashion of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Survivors also include nine grandchildren five great-grandchildren. His hobbies included; fishing, hunting, gun collecting and traveling.
He was a dedicated member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. His favorite scripture passage being Psalm 23:4 “Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”. Rest in peace Dad.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July20, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Brad Bennett officiating.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
