She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, yaya, wela-wela, la-la, sister and aunt whom will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Alicia was born on September 2, 1947, in Del Rio Texas to Eloisa and Bardomino Avila. Alicia was a widow, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family and friends remember her best for her amazing Spanish dishes; salsa, tamales, fresh tortillas and of course her famous biscochos.
She loved her movie and lunch dates with her daughters, shopping, crossword puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren and watching all her favorite shows- “Heartland, The Waltons, Touched by an Angel, Reba & Walker, Texas Ranger.
She is survived by her four daughters, Angie Sauseda and husband Bobby, Maria Rodriguez and husband Rudy, Melissa Martinez and husband Roger, and Stephanie Gonzales and husband Luis, daughter in law Sylvia Ybarra, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, brother Manuel Avila from Clarksville Texas and numerous nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, sisters, and her son Manuel Ybarra Jr. her heart and soul.
Her final confession was to tell everyone that her favorite daughter was _ _ _ _ _ _ _ , just kidding “all four of her daughters”.
