Alma Ivonne Gallegos age 61, of Odessa, Texas, passed away at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa, TX. on Sunday December 2, 2018. She was born July 22, 1957 in Cd. Juarez, Mexico to Victor Covernali and Juana Gloria Valenzuela Covernali. Alma was a Christian Catholic and Homemaker.

She married Juan Ramon Gallegos on April 27, 1970 in Cd. Juarez, MX.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Ramon Gallegos of Odessa, TX. Two daughters Ivonne Gallegos and Odalie Ibarra and husband Luis all of Odessa, TX. One son Juan F Gallegos and wife Maria of Odessa, TX. Two sisters Maria Del Refugio Covernali, and Lina Maria Covernali and husband Alberto Vargas all of El Paso, TX. Three brothers Roberto Covernali and wife Maria, Rodolfo Covernali and wife Zoe, and Victor Covernali Jr. and wife Adela Fierro all of El Paso, TX. Mrs. Galllegos also leaves to cherish her memories 8 grandchildren Edgar Ibarra, Kimberley Gallegos, Juan Gallegos Jr. Isis Ibarra, Brenda Ibarra, Alexa Rodriguez, Aaron Rodriguez, and Alan Rodriguez and 1 great-grandchild Xzavien Gallegos and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 4, 2018 from 9am-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel 1700 N. Jackson Odessa, Texas 79763.

Funeral services are set for 1Pm December 5, 2018 at Holy Reedemer Catholic Church, with Father Juan Cortez officiating.

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa II section.
