Antonia A. Jaramillo, the beloved matriarch of her family, was born June 13, 1944, in Taos, New Mexico, and a longtime resident of Odessa, Texas. She went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in her home.
Antonia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eleve Jaramillo.
She is survived by her loving children: Christine Jones (Bob), Chris Jaramillo, Cindy Lopez (Danny), and Leslie Jaramillo. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Jeremy LeDoux, Aimee LeDoux, Bryan LeDoux, Jennifer Jaramillo, Xavier Jaramillo, Ashley Jaramillo, Adrianna Hernandez, and Gabriel Hernandez. She is also survived by her sister, MaryAnn Cisneros of Questa, New Mexico.
Antonia was blessed with four great-grandchildren—Symphony LeDoux, Reynaldo LeDoux, Leilani LeDoux, and Elianna LeDoux—who brought her immense joy.
Antonia dedicated over 30 years of her life as a hairdresser, owning her own business and building lasting relationships with the many women she lovingly cared for. Her clients were more than customers—they were family, and she treasured each of them deeply.
She was known for her infectious laughter, a laughter that could fill a room and bring joy to everyone around her. Antonia was a strong woman who loved life and lived it with warmth, humor, and resilience. Above all, she was a devoted mother who loved her children with her whole heart. She was always there for them—steadfast, supportive, and full of unconditional love.
Her greatest joy was having her family together, especially during the holidays. Those moments meant everything to her.
Antonia was a God-fearing woman whose faith never wavered. She prayed faithfully for her family and made it her mission to ensure that each of her children knew God and had a relationship with Him. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on through her family for generations to come.
She will be remembered not only for her strength and love, but also for her spirited personality and her favorite saying, “Don’t mess with Texas.”
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Interim Hospice for the compassionate care provided, especially Annette and Randall. A very special thank you to Marybell Ybarra for her care, dedication, and the friendship she shared with Antonia over the past two years. We are forever grateful.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson, Odessa, Texas.
Antonia’s life was a testament to faith, family, and love. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
