She was 85 years old.
Barbara Sue is survived by her children; Pam Jones of Midland, Texas; Bud Wadzeck and wife Carol of Odessa, Texas; Larry Wadzeck and wife Vickie of Odessa, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Gillit; parents Elsie and Ted Campbell; brothers Don Campbell and Ben Campbell; son-in-law Ken Jones; grandson Joey Wadzeck; and granddaughter Robin Casey.
Barbara Sue was born on July 9, 1936. She worked for ECISD in Odessa, Texas and then LISD in Lampasas, Texas for many years. After retiring she moved back to Odessa to be with family.
A memorial service for Barbara Sue is scheduled for Monday, May 2, 2022, at 9:00 am at Snead Carley Funeral Home in Lampasas, Texas. It will be immediately followed by a graveside burial ceremony in Weinert, Texas.
