As just a newborn, Denise was adopted by a loving couple, Lloyd and Ruby Sanders of Kansas City, Missouri. The family moved to Odessa in 1962 and Denise graduated from Odessa Permian in 1972. Denise was an accomplished Accountant both as a corporate and independent consultant. In addition to her professional accomplishments Denise was deeply involved the lives of others and considered to be a “second mom”.
Denise is survived by her mom, Ruby Sanders of Odessa, TX; daughter, Jennifer Smith; son, Jason Smith, both of Odessa, TX; and four grandchildren, Bradlee, 15, Lucas, 12, Alex, 10 and Alison, 8.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with Rev. Fletcher Anderson officiating.
