Dominga Villalba Piña

She was born September 9, 1923, in Fort Stockton to Encarnacion (Chon) and Antonia (Bueno) Villalba. She married Domingo “Mingo” Piña Jr in Ft. Stockton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter Cynthia Ann Reschman.

She is survived by her son Noe Piña of Arlington, TX, daughters Bertha Piña, Elodia Hernandez and husband Sam, Natalie Reschman and husband Joe, Mary Alice Murillo and husband Gilbert, all of Odessa, Maria Dolores Piña of San Angelo, Josie Bayless and husband Chris of Odessa, eleven grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several of the Bueno family members whom she was raised with in Fort Stockton.

The Piña family would like to give special thanks to Rosa Serrano for the care and attention she gave both our parents over the years.

A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Joseph Uecker, CPPS, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
