Donald "Duck" Lee Mathis

Mr. Mathis 63, of Odessa, surrounded by his loving family at his bedside,passed away Tuesday September 23,2014 at his residence.

He was born September 23, 2014 in Ranger, Texasto D.L. and Fannie Belle Mathis.

Donald was a Christian and was self-employed, working on mechanical seals.

He is preceded in death by Parents; D.L. and Fannie Belle Mathis,

Mr. Mathis is survived by Loving Wife; Carol Mathis and Daughter; Michell (Dallas) Penn, all of Odessa, TX. Brother; David Ray Mathis of Ft. Worth, TX, Sister; Joyce Mathis of College Station, TX, Grandchildren; Madilynn and Sadie Penn of Odessa, TX. and a host ofNieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.

We the Mathis Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for all yourprayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. We would also like to thank the Staff ofStar Hospice for all the wonderful loving care andfriendship shared with Our Beloved Father.

May God Bless You All Abundantly. Visitation will be held at 10am today Thursday September 25, 2014 from 8am to 9pm at Odessa Funeral Home with a Family Gathering from 6pm to 8pm. Graveside Services will be held at 10am Friday 25, 2014at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens - Last Supper Garden.
