Doris Reeves

Doris was born on July 4, 1930 in Wortham Texas to Ely and Elenor Meredith. Doris wed Jesse Lee Reeves on April 5, 1947 in Lubbock, TX. Together they had 4 children. Doris and Jesse moved to Odessa Texas in 1957 to raise their family, they were married 69 years. She co-owned Permian Basin Vacuum Service with her husband. Doris and Jesse were members of First Assembly of God Church in Odessa Texas. She was an enthusiastic seamstress and an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a remarkable Christian lady.

Doris is survived by her daughter Judy Manley and her husband Don Manley, and her son Terry Reeves. She is also survived by her estranged children Sandra and husband Van Harris and Mike and wife Theresa Reeves. Doris is also survived by her grandchildren Nikki Gonzales and her husband Anthony Gonzales, Kelsey Bradley and her husband Reid Bradley and Joshua Reeves and four other grandchildren. Doris is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church on 1101 N. Lee, in Odessa Texas.

Although we grieve here on Earth, we know you are reunited in Heaven with your Husband Jesse, and we take consolation that you are both together again forever in the kingdom of the Lord. We love you always Doris Reeves, (Mom/Nanny)
