Dorothy Ann Stroka

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017 Dorothy Stroka was called to soar with the Angels. Dorothy was a long time resident of Odessa, Texas and had spent the last several years in the Houston area to be near her family. Odessa was her home and where she and George raised three children, Dorothy was very active with St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years. Dorothy also enjoyed cooking and making home made crafts and paintings for which she won many ribbons at the Ector County Fair. Dorothy was preceded by her husband George, infant son, John, parents, Andrew and Mary Krishak and siblings, Joseph Krishak, Mary Kudasik, Andrew Krishak, Helen Kudasik, Marie Fedock, George Krishak, Andy Krishak Jr., Annie Krishak and John Krishak. Survivors are her sister, Lillian Burdge, daughter, Dianne Rives with husband Daryl, son, Bobby Stroka with Stefanie Halvorson, son, Pat Stroka and wife Tysha Calhoun, grandchildren include Scott Rives with Wife Shannon, Leesa with husband Scott and Jason Rives, Brian and Brandi Stroka, great grandchildren include Emma, AJ, Weldon, Kylie, Aubrey. Dorothy is also blessed to have numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St. Mary's Catholic School, this will put a smile on her face as she soars the Heavens above. Pallbearers: Butch Burdge, Andy Burdge, Scott Rives, Jason Rives, Brian Stroka, Tim Pinkstaff. A Rosary will start at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Mass will be held the following day on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
