She was born on January 22, 1927, to Lucille and Clarence E. Hooper in Bloomburg, TX. She married B.A. Wallace on July 20, 1982, in Lovington, NM. She was a member of Tops Club; she volunteered at the Globe Theatre and worked for the Brownie Shop.
She is survived by her son Robert O'Neil Adcock and wife Judy Marie of Lubbock TX.; daughters Martha “Ann” Swinney and husband Michael P. of Dripping Springs, TX, Darlene Davis and husband Jimmy Dale of Roby, TX; brother Carol Gene Hooper of Arkansas, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m on Monday, November 5, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Davis officiating.
