Edwin Earl "Ed" Prichard

Edwin “ED” Prichard, 73, of Odessa passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born October 10, 1943 in Ennis, TX. He was a graduate of Odessa High School and SMU. He had worked for NCH as a Director of Operations. Ed was a friendly man with a career in logistics. He served honorably in the United States Marines and was a veteran of the Vietnam War reaching the rank of Captain. He has always enjoyed being around dogs, especially his German Shepherds. Ed enjoyed scouting liked to play dominos and bridge and all sports. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann, parents, Lizzie and Milford Prichard, brother, Milford Lewis Prichard Jr, sister, Josie Fayrene Rutherford. He is survived by his brothers, Jim Prichard of Odessa, Bill Prichard and wife Sue of Odessa, sister-in-law, Rosa Lee Prichard of Abilene, brother-in-law, Jerry Rutherford of Ft. Worth, nieces, Lou Ann Draper, Debbie Koerlin, Deenie Cress, Karen Craig, nephews, Blake Rutherford, Marlon Prichard, Ron Prichard, and Keith Prichard. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 19 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
