Steve was a good and understanding man.
He gave counsel to those who needed it without realizing that the individual needed counseling.
He was and still is a blessing from God.
Heaven has gained an Angel, It was a pleasure to have that Angel with us here for a while.

Having had the privilege of knowing Steve at Holy Redeemer and at St. Elizabeth, I witnessed and experienced his love and service for God and for all who crossed his path. He was all heart, all the time. My soul rejoices for Steve, as he takes his place among his heavenly family. For Leticia and the children, my prayers for comfort and peace will be unceasing.

You are in God's house, may you be at peace and continue serving and making the angels laugh in heaven. Continued prayers for you Leticia and the children.

To one of the greastst guys I had the pleasure of knowing.  We had some good times at Holy Redeemer with CCD, retreats and the search program.  It was a honor learning and teaching by your side, you will be greatly missed.  I reach out to your family and all your loved ones, my deepest condolences.

Rojo Family ~ My heart goes out to you during this difficult time for I too feel like I lost a Family Member. They say the eyes are the Windows of our Souls ~ Matthew 6:23 says "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light" ~ Steven's Lamps Sure Did Shine!  They Shined for his Love of the Lord & Love of His Precious Family:)  Thank you for sharing Steven with us for so many years & thru so many events. Well Done Steven ....

To the family and friends of Steve Rojo...please accept my deepest condolences at the news of his departure from here.  I had the privilege of working alongside him at Serv-all Thriftway #37 in the mid 80's, stocking groceries.  Monday & Thursdays mornings at 6:00 a.m. were not always the 'funnest' but we could always count on Stevie to keep us laughing and smiling.  In looking at all the photos of Smiling Steve that I've seen posted, I know that he was still the same joyous young man that I first met.  Nothing had waxed or waned from that time til now, except maybe the hair on his head!  May you all experience the tangible comfort of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, knowing this...'to be absent from this body means we are present with the Lord' Stevie is present with the Lord and we will see him again one day.  Know this too, that God holds you all close to His heart.  Much, much love to you.

i will miss his terrible corny jokes and his faith in God

There are many who strive to be christ like, but so few actually get there.  Steve in my opinion was there. He inspired many people to not just follow christ, but to live their faith every single day.  His motivation, smile and kind heart always put a smile on my face and for that I am greatful.  You will be missed my friend.  May your family be held closely by God in their time of need.

Steve, you, and your entire family, will be in our Prayers.
Although you have been physically taken from this world, you will always have a special place in my heart!
I will always remember your Love and Dedication to your Family and the Catholic Church!  I will also remember that you treated me like everyone else; the fact that I use a wheelchair didn't matter - your extended your beautiful "humor" to those you wanted - who ever they were!
