Eva Jewel LInebery, 96, of Odessa passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at her residence. She was born January 21, 1916 in Odessa to Harve SR & Vina Lou (Hunnicutt) Mayfield. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1939. She received a BA in Home Economics from the University of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Ernest W. Tate SR, her second husband, Jack W. Linebery, brother, Harve Mayfield, JR, & sister-in-law, Lillian S. Mayfield.
She is survived by her sons, David Linebery of Odessa, Ernest Tate Jr & wife Sandra of Elmore City, OK, daughter, Bonnie White of Abilene, (5) grandchildren, (12) great-grandchildren, & (1) great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Linebery will lie in state Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Ector County Cemetery in the Odessa section with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
