Frances "Fran" Marie (Bostick) Reedy

Fran was born September 19, 1925 in Floyd County Texas to Green Berry Bostick an and Emma Ruth Lewis Bostick.

Fran was married to Elden L Reedy Sr. for 45 years and divorced in 1991.

Fran was a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years and held many special offices.

Fran enjoyed hobbies such as sewing and cooking and collected angels and doves. She was active in the Midland Porcelain Arts Club, DAR- Daughters of the American Revolution.

Fran worked with her husband to form an oilfield supply company named Fran Sales and Service in 1976 and later opened a retail gift shop named Francene’s Fancies in 2004.

Fran is survived by her sons, Elden L Reedy Jr and wife, Debbie, of Odessa, Olen Reedy and wife, Toni, of Denton and a daughter in Odessa, name withheld at her request.

Fran is also survived by granddaughters Lauren Kello and husband Lamar of Lubbock, Texas also Chelsea Reedy of Denton, Texas and Shawna Edmiston and husband Shane of Celina, Texas. Also niece Thanie Smallwood of Matador, Texas.

Fran has four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Fran was admired and loved by her family, friends, and customers.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes you to consider making a memorial donation in her name to the Odessa Food Bank.

A graveside service for Fran will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E I-20 Business Loop, Odessa, Texas 79762.
