

Francielle Lunday Hill, 86, of Odessa passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Hospice In Patient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born October 18, 1924 in San Angelo to William Frank & Celia Lee (Jones) Cawyer.
She had worked many years for the Pecos Enterprise as Society Editor, Sports Editor & News editor. She was also a bookkeeper. She was married to Dr. I G Lunday and following his death Fran married Robert K. Hill. They owned and operated Hills Grocery in Pecos.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sisters, one brother and two great grandchildren.
She is survived by her four daughters, Virginia Brookshire & husband Halley of Odessa, Nancy Jo Maninger & husband Kenneth of Brownwood, Meredith Ayers & husband Dean of Odessa, Nona Leek of Hurst, TX, sisters, Nancy Cayce of Nashville, Dru Wilson of Abilene, (10) grandchildren, & (13) great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2010 at Eisenhower Church of Christ with Allan Weakland officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Pecos.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Scott Brookshire, Kirk Ayers, Ryan Ayers, Aaron Leek, Aaron Adams & David Herrera.
