Fred Watkins

Passed away from this earth on Dec.19, 2011. He was 67 years old. He was born in Ballinger TX on June 27th 1944. He was manager and owner of Sherwood Lanes for 35 years until he sold it and retired in December of 2009. He loved joking around and having fun with all the bowlers and was loved by all who knew him.

Preceding him in death were his Father Barney F. Watkins, Mother Norma W. Watkins, Sister Fran Holcomb and Brother-in-law Bill Holcomb.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his Wife of 43 years Sharon Watkins, Son Greg Watkins of Odessa TX, Granddaughter Kloi Watkins of Odessa TX, Grandson Tristan Randolph of Providence Village TX, Brother Billy Watkins and his wife Laly of Odessa TX, Brother Kenneth Watkins and his wife Shirley of Lake Livingston TX, three Sisters Joann Combest of Garland TX, Linda Watkins of Granbury TX, and Ruth Watkins of Granbury TX.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Wednesday Dec 21, 2011 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be held Thursday Dec 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel Rev. Jimmy Braswell will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Special Thanks to Home Hospice for their care and thoughtfulness, Molly for her care and thoughtfulness, the Hospice House for their kindness and care for Fred, and to Dr. Michael Shelton for his care and concern for Fred.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House.
