Fred C. Young

passed away on August 21,2016.

Fred was born in Marfa TX on September 29 ,1946.

Fred was married to Gloria on June 27, 1970 in

Piedras Negras, Mexico, and were married 46 years.

He was a loyal and proud veteran of the Vietnam War

while serving in the United States Army. He loved the

open road in his career as a professional truck driver,

and was a patient and loving father.

Fred is survived by his wife -Gloria;

daughters- Laura, Sandra, and Priscilla;

grandchildren- Freddy, Alejandro, Alizabeth,

Isaiah, Ambri, and a baby grandson

who is on the way, that will surely know him through

wonderful memories and stories of others.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents -

Enrique and Petronila Young,

brothers- Jose Enrique, Hilario Jacob, Ramon, Jesus Julian.

Visitation will be held on August 24, 2016, starting at 11am,

rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on August 25,2016

at 2:00 pm at St Joseph’s Catholic Church

with reception to follow.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Fred’s life.

He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
