Guadalupe Pequeno

In the Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found my beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather Guadalupe “Lupe” Pequeno. Mr. Pequeno was met in Our Heavenly Kingdom by his beloved Parents: Pablo and Paula Chavez Pequeno, and In~ Laws: Calistro and Rosa Sotelo, Brothers: David and Aurelio Pequeno, Sisters: Dolores Rubio, Maria Pequeno, and Alicia Torres. Surrounded by his loving family, at his bedside and at his residence Mr. Pequeno passed away Monday December 20, 2010 at the age of 71. He was born June 14, 1939 in Sedgewick, Colorado to Pablo and Paula Chavez Pequeno, He united in marriage to Viola Sotelo May 27,1961 here in Odessa. He was a Christian Catholic and a carpet layer for many years, besides his passion of enjoyment with his Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren was the love he had for cooking, his story telling amongst his jokes was a way he had to brighten any ones day. My Beloved Husband , Father and Grandfather you will be dearly missed, but will always remain in our hearts. We will always Love You and Miss you. He is survived by Wife, Viola S. Pequeno, of Odessa, Sons; Edward Pequeno(Josie), Paul Pequeno (Michelle) all of Odessa, Tx, Daughters: Sandra Catano (Johnny), Linda Aguilar, Sherry Porras (Magdaleno), all from Odessa, and Sally Dominguez (Albert) from Midland, Texas, Sisters: Noemi Nerio of Midland, Texas, Margie Casarez of Odessa, Tx 18: Grandchildren; 20; Great-Grandchildren, and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many friends. We the Pequeno, Sotelo Family with a heartfelt embrace would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for all your Prayers, Floral, Food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time A special gratitude to the Dr`s, nurses and staff at Medical Center Hospital,The Cancer Center, Infusion Center and Compass Hospice for all the wonderful loving care given to my beloved Husband and Father. May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and special nephew, John Cantano III, Maleno Porras Jr., Isaac Porras, Aaron Porras, Alex Dominguez, and Ricky Pequeno. Visitation will be held today Tuesday December 21,2010 from 9am to 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday December 22,2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Section.
