

Jack Irwin Miller II, age 50, died Saturday, October 2, 2010, in Snyder.
He was born June 4, 1960, to Jack Irwin Sr. and Manola (Rentrop) Miller in Union City, TN. He married Valerie Fagan on September 5, 1987, in Sweeny, TX. He was a welder at Alon Refinery and has worked for the chemical compound in Odessa for 16 years. He was also a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church where he played the bass guitar and was in the band “First Jubilation.” Jack loved his family, his church, fishing and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kent Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie Miller of Odessa; his son, Jack Miller III of Houston, TX; his daughters, Jami and Kelly Miller, both of Odessa; his parents, Jack Miller Sr. of Trinity, TX; and his mother, Manola Miller of Morgan City, LA; a grandchild, Sophie Miller; and father and mother-in-law, Roy and Margaret Ann Fagan of Odessa.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Paul Thompson and Rev. Bob Fagan officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
