Runnels County, TX.
He was married to Frieda Koenig, two daughters were born to this marriage. He later married Grace Carlin. He worked for Halliburton and retired after 26 years. As a young man he picked cotton in Runnels County. His hobbies were music and playing card games. He was a life time
member of the First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Alvis, Aubrey, Billy Gene, and Hollis Ray, one sister, Juanita Leonard SiendenBerger.
He is survived by daughters, Camille Ann Wallace and husband Keith of McGregor, TX, Mary Beth Thompson and husband Melton of Odessa,
three grandchildren, Kevin Stitts, Weldon Thompson and Amy Payne,
four great-grandchildren, Landon Payne, Laynie Payne, Colton Thompson, and Lane Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 10am Friday, November 1, 2013 at Ector County Cemetery.
