Janice Lee Slaton

Janice Lee Slaton, 60, of Odessa passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born June 16, 1955 in Odessa to Calvin & Eavie (Hicks) Allbright. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1973. She married John Slaton November 20, 2001 in Odessa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, J.T. & J.W. Allbright, sisters, Georgia Mae Redd & Louise Reynolds. She is survived by her husband John Slaton of Odessa, sons, Bryan Barrow & wife Janet of Terrell, TX, Philip Barrow & wife Rosalie of Midland; step-sons, John Slaton Jr. of San Antonio, Carl Slaton of Grand Prairie, David Slaton of Blanchard, OK; step-daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Blanchard, OK; sister, Janet Boon of Brownwood; (7) grandchildren, Kelsey Saldivar, Johnathan, Patrick, Katelynn, Zachary, Christopher & Harley Barrow; (4) step-grandchildren, Caleb, Cadyn & Jamie Slaton & Jon-Mykel Johnson; special friend, Pat Owensby & several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
