Jesse Barela Dominguez Sr.

Jesse was born May 21, 1965, in Lovington, New Mexico, to Eloria Barela and Juan Reza Dominguez. He attended Cameron Elementary School and Odessa High School. Jesse met his wife, Burnadette Miranda, in 1996. Together they had three children to add to the three children from his previous relationships.

Jesse loved to be around his friends and family. He was passionate about cars and motorcycles. He loved to customize and work on classic cars, going to car shows, and riding motorcycles with his friends. Jesse specialized in detailing and window tinting. Jesse was known for having quick and funny responses to almost every situation. He always expressed his feelings and his beliefs. His thoughtfulness and humor will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Crystal Dominguez; cousin, Larry Natividad; and neice, Kara Dominguez.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Burnadette;of Lubbock, TX; sons,Jesse Barela Dominguez, Jr. of Lubbock, TX, Christopher Miranda, of Odessa, TX, Joel Dominguez of Hobbs, NM, Joshua Dominguez of Hobbs, NM; daughter, Eloria Barela Dominguez of San Antonio; brothers, Mario (Gracie) Dominguez, John (Candy) Dominguez, Michael (Janis) Dominguez, Fabian Dominguez; his only sister, Julie Dominguez; and grandchildren, Jaemie, Jaecie, Taylor, Emarhii, and Elias.

A celebration of life for Jesse will be held Friday, September 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 North Jackson, Odessa, TX 79761.
