Joy Lovetta Harris

Joy Lovetta Harris, 90, longtime resident of Odessa passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1927 in Eastland, TX to Oliver & Dausie Hogan. She was a retired cook for the Ector County School District for 15 years. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert Walton Harris, grandson, Edward Shane Mosley & 2 brothers, Glenn & Gale Hogan. She is survived by her children, Elaine & Greg Smith, Patricia & Edward Mosley, Allen & Pam Harris, Randal Harris, all of Odessa, brothers, Marthon & Cora Hogan of Arlington, Dee & Jo Hogan of McKinney, (4) granddaughters, Toni & Michael Johnson & their 2 children, Ginger & Josh Martin & their 5 children, Angelique & Chris Howard & their 4 children, & Crystal Harris & (4) grandsons, Kevin Hughes, Jason & Minh Mosley & their 3 children, Jeremy & Lindsay Mosley & their 2 children, Andrew & Racheal Harris & their 3 children, & several nieces, nephews & cousins. A visitation will be held 6 – 8 pm Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, June 15, at the First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Terry Pugh & Rev. Allen Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
