

In The Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior is to be found A Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Grandmother and Sister. Luz Martha Ortiz 55, of Odessa passed away Tuesday September 18, 2012 at The Home Hospice House here in Odessa after a lengthy battle with Cancer. Mrs. Ortiz was a devout Christian Women, whom loved the Lord dearly, a Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She had such a heart for helping people and worked as an RN for Medical Center Hospital, where she later retired in 2010. She was born October 18,1956 in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico to Carmen Vasquez Sr. and Josefa Baeza. Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her Loving Husband; Humberto Ortiz of Odessa; Sons; Robert Ortiz (Anna) of Odessa, James Ortiz (Ysela) of Odessa, Vyron Ortiz of Odessa, Parents; Carmen Sr. and Josefa B. Vasquez of Loving, NM; Brothers; Augustine Vasquez, Eliseo Vasquez, Ruben Vasquez, Carmen Vasquez Jr. all of Loving, NM , Servando Vasquez of Carlsbad, NM, sisters; Ismaelia V. Vasquez of California, Sarah Delgado of Loving, NM, Rosalinda Diaz of Houston. 6 grandchildren Bryana Ortiz, Kiana Ortiz, Liyah Ortiz, Brielle Ortiz and Maya Ortiz all of Odessa and Alicea Ortiz of El Paso, Tx. and a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Many Friends. We The Ortiz Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us, during this most difficult time. A special Gratitude to all the Dr`s, Nurses and Staff at The Home Hospice House, for all the wonderful caring love given to Our beloved Wife and Mother. May God Bless You All Abundantly. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7PM Today Thursday September 20,2012 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 10AM Friday September 21,2012 at Odessa Funeral Home with Rev: Mario Martinez officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery The Peaceful Gardens Section.
