

Margaret Faye Applewhite, 90, went to Heaven to sing in God’s Choir on June 10, 2015 at Permian Residential Care Center of Andrews. Margaret was born March 8, 1925 to W. C. and Mary Harrell in Emhouse, Texas. Margaret was a homemaker, she loved her Lord and her Family. She was a Baptist and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Margaret was well known for her soprano voice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Ray Bass and Dever Applewhite, five brothers, Kermit Brown, Joe Harrell, Tommy Harrell, Travis Harrell, and Morris Harrell, one sister, Pauline Brown Jordan.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Bass and wife Ruby of Seminole, Dever Lee Applewhite Jr. of Marshall, five grandchildren, Sandy Williams and Butch, Dustin Bass, Dina Riley and Jerry, Chuck Applewhite and Amber, and D. J. Applewhite, eight great-grandchildren, Steven Williams and Tina, Joden Williams, Chason Williams, Dylan Bass, Jaden Riley, Sierra Applewhite, Damon Applewhite, and Almeda Velazo as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-7pm Friday, June 12, 2015 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Graveside service will be 2pm Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Gaines County South Cemetery in Seminole.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
