

MARGARET HUDSON
September 6, 1934 – January 26, 2015
Margaret Jane Hudson was one of five children born to Gilbert and Oney Alexander. She was born in Sylvan, Texas September 6, 1934. Margaret grew up in Paris, Texas where she graduated from Paris High School. During High School, Margaret was a majorette performing with the marching band. Her family moved to Odessa, Texas and she continued her education at Odessa Jr. College receiving her Associate Degree.
Margaret married Jessie Hudson. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was affectionately called Moo Granny by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active choir member until her health failed. On Monday, January 26, 2015 Margaret went home to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Oney; two brothers, Edward and Leslie; and two sisters, Mandy and Rosa. She leaves to mourn her life and memory her two daughters: Margaret Alexander and Debra Taylor (Greg); granddaughters: Nikki Miller (Ben) and Niecy Taylor; great-grandchildren: Taylor Janae, David and Caden; nephews: Joe Alexander, Michael Alexander, James Alexander, and a host of family, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel L. Buhl Sr. officiating and minster Michael Alexander providing the Eulogy.
