In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother & Dear Friend, Marshall Tijerina. Mr. Tijerina 52, of Odessa surrounded by his loving family at his bedside, passed away Sunday January 19 ,2014 at his residence. He was born September 10,1961 in Odessa, Texas to Enrique and Anita Carrasco Tijerina Sr.He united in marriage to Mary Kate Borunda. June 01, 1979 here in Odessa, Tx. He was a devout Christian who loved and served the Lord with all his heart, and a retired Welder in the oil field Industry Mr. Tijerina`s hobbies were making and known for his delicious and famous beef jerky . He is preceded in death by Daughter; Samantha Tijerina, Parents;Enrique and Anita Carrasco Tijerina Sr, Brother EnriqueTijerina Jr.. Mr. Tijerina is survived by Loving Wife. Mary Kate B. Tijerina of Odessa, Son: Marcos Tijerina and Wife Mari of Odessa Marshall Navarrette and wife Deida of Odessa, Daughter; Priscilla Olivarez and Husband Michael of Odessa, Sisters: Beatrice (Adam) Ceniceros of Odessa, Anabel (Lorenzo) Lopez Odessa, Texas, Elisama Valadez & Significant Other( Edward Gonzales) of Irving, Texas. 10 Grandchildren and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends. We the Tijerina Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. We would also like to give a special gratitude to Dr, Dar, Tonie & Jimmie Morgan for all the wonderful caring love given to our beloved Marshall May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be: Adan Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Pedro Salcon, Adam Ceniceros ,Edward Gonzales, Lorenzo Lopez, Victor Leyva, Raul Tijerina, & Zeke Tijerina Visitation will be held today Tuesday January 21, 2014 from 1pm to 9pm at Latter Rain Worship Center (305 E. 19th St.) with a Prayer Service to be held at 7pm. Services will be held at 1pm Wednesday January 22, 2014 at Latter Rain Worship Center with Pastor Craig DeArmond officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery The Peaceful Gardens Section.
