Mary Lou Fortune

She was born April 27, 1943, to Ward Raymond and Bernice (Hysmith) Williams in Bethel Springs, TN. She was married to John C. Fortune.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Raymond Hayes Williams, a nephew Johnny Williams, and a grandson Joshua William Slaughter.

She is survived by her children Jerry Wayne Slaughter and wife, Lisa of El Paso, TX; John A. Fortune and wife, Ashlee of Odessa; Jason Lynn Fortune and wife, Mary of Odessa; and Janet Lynn Carrillo and husband Luis of San Antonio, TX; brother Earl Williams and wife, Martha of Finger, TN; seventeen grandchildren Kevin, Miranda, and Nicholas Carrillo, Austin, Jared, Tyler, Dallas, Mason and Garrett Slaughter, Zachary, Brandon, Ashton, Dylan, Nathaniel, Ashley, and Jason, Jr Fortune, and Tuff Lee; two great-grandchildren Jacob Carrillo, and Cameron Slaughter; niece Debbie Williams; nephew Randy Williams; and best friends Barbara Thomas, Margaret Wooten, Brenda Markham, and Traci Burns.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 21, 2014, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
