Maxine Henry, age 78, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at her residence in Odessa.
She was born January 28, 1937, to Rubble Wesley and Gladys (Blair) Gressett, in San Angelo, TX. She was a long-time resident of Odessa, and a member of Vine Baptist Church. Before retiring, she worked many years as a waitress.
She is preceded in death by her husband, and her son Wesley Smith.
She is survived by her sons Gary Smith and wife, Wendie of Odessa; and Michael Smith and wife, Diane of Buchanan, TX; daughter Judy Swift of Odessa; sisters Doris Elder of Lubbock, TX, and Sharon Wallace of Odessa; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Vine Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Touchstone officiating.
