Peggy V. Cunningham, 89, of Hattiesburg, MS, formerly of Gardendale, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born March 14, 1922 in Coleman, TX to Dennis & Annie (Pollock) Lykins. She married Gene Cunningham August 7, 1940 in Crane, TX, he preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her son, Dewaine Cunningham, sisters, Ruth Hatch, & Alene Smith. She is survived by her son, Michael Cunningham of Azle, TX, daughter, Karen Ezell of Hattiesburg, MS, sister, Bonnie Hyden of Big Spring, (8) grandchildren, & (7) great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Robert Hinojos officiating.
