Robert Ray (Bob) Hardin, 72, of Gardendale passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Hospice House. He was born September 12, 1939 in Stamford, TX to Wilburn Ray & Ruth (Herd) Hardin. He married Jackie Truesdell October 12, 1991. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Professor & Coach. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife Jackie Arnell Hardin of Gardendale, son, Chris Hardin of Alpine, brothers, Tim Hardin of Lubbock, Johnny Hardin of Snyder, sisters, Maxine Palmer of Ruff N Ready, CA, Cindy Garcia of Snyder, & Nancy Blair, (13) grandchildren & (6) great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2011 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Betty Yochum officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
