Robert attended Blooming Grove High School and Dr. Carrier’s Mechanical School of Engineering. He worked for over 50 years in the supply and A/C business. Robert was a faithful deacon at Northside Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Lou (“Mama Lou”) Walker; son, Robert Dale Walker; daughter, Melinda Joyce Davis; and siblings, James Ray, George Washington, Jr., Helen, Doris Ruth, Vera Francis, Earnest Dwayne, Wanda Sue, Charles Coley, Gertrude, Elbert, Clyde William, Edna Irene, Maudie Merle, Katherine, and Ivy Gee.
Robert is survived by his daughter: Gail Daniel of Fairfield; sons: Sam Walker and Troy Walker and his wife Crystal of Odessa; sister: Sarah Davis and her husband Jesse of Milford; grandchildren: Robert Seth Daniel, JD Daniel, Dara Ferguson, Katie Davis, Karissa Davis, Justin Walker, Billy Walker, Blake Walker, Baylee Walker, Taylor Chapman, Gavin Chapman, Brayden Eberts, Keaton Wartman and Kelsey Wartman.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Odessa Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10 AM at Northside Baptist Church with Bro. Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at the Rose Hill section of Ector County Cemetery. Justin Walker, Billy Walker, Blake Walker, Brayden Eberts, Gavin Walker and JD Daniel will serve as pallbearers.
