Rosanell Harrington

Rosanell Harrington (Rose) passed away on May 24, 2011 after a long illness. She was born on November 27, 1928 in Dumont, Texas to George and Alice Roper. She married David L Harrington on June 4, 1949 in Paducah, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother; Arlen Roper. Rose is survived by her husband of 62 years David L. Harrington of Odessa, and their 6 children and their spouses; David A Harrington and Mary of Texarkana, Mary Brewster and Scott of Rio Rancho NM, Bathena Turman and Lin of Roosevelt Utah, Lisa Babcock and Jeff of Marianna Fla., Neal Harrington and Glynis of Odessa, Nathan Harrington and Emily of Marshall, Tx. 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Rose was a longtime Jehovah’s Witness and attended the Caprock Congregation in Odessa. She was free lance sign painter and art teacher. and has made Odessa her home since 1956. Visitation will be on Thrsday from 9am -5 pm and on Friday from 9 am to 9 pm at Odessa Funeral Home. Grave Side services have been set at 2 pm on Saturday May 28, 2011 at Cedar Point Cemetery near Brownwood, Texas with Brother Sam Duncan. Memorial services will be held 4:30 on Sunday May 29, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness corner of 87 & Dawn in Odessa.
