Roy Dale Spruill

Roy Dale Spruill, 79, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born June 1, 1936 in Deleon, TX to Roy Herman & Enola Spruill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was owner of Spruill Brothers Drilling Co. He married Peggy McClung June 23, 1995 in Odessa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, (4) brothers, and (2) sisters. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jean Spruill of Odessa, son, Monty Spruill of Odessa; (2) step-sons, Russel Schaffer of Odessa & Kirk Crawford of Katy, TX, (5) daughters Cynthia Branch & husband Jack of Odessa, Earlene Lynch & husband Dr. Kevin Lynch of Odessa, Mary O’Neal of Odessa, Lisa Brown & husband Shane of Odessa, Amy Walker & husband Chad of Odessa, brother, Norman Spruill & wife Doris of Odessa, (13) grandchildren, (14) great-grandchildren, & (9) great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 6 pm to 8 pm Friday, October 9, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with Pastor Mark McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
