Ruby Lee “Rose” Burnette, 89, a long time resident of Odessa passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born July 23, 1921 in Eastland, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She married John M. Burnette April 16, 1949 in Monahans.
She is survived by her husband, John Burnette of Odessa, daughter, Bonnie Peek of Odessa, granddaughter, Miranda, and great-granddaughter, Moira.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with Dr. Byron McWilliams officiating. Interment will follow at the Odessa Cemetery.
