Shayla Lavonne Haynes

Shayla LaVonne Haynes was born to Carolyn Haynes and Fredrick Lee Willard December 26, 1985 in Odessa, Texas. She was the oldest child of three children. Shayla accepted the Lord at an early age uniting with the Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.

Shayla attended Hay’s Elementary, then to Ector High School in Odessa, Texas. Shayla loved music and singing. She loved her children and family.

Shayla is preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather: Willie Mae Haynes, Nathan Haynes Jr. the 2nd, great grandmother Sarah L. Haynes and Josephine Christian, great grandfathers: Nathan David Haynes and Frank Christian. Aunt, Sarah Louise Haynes and Uncle, Vince Edward Haynes.

She leave to cherish her memory: Mother: Carolyn Haynes. Three sons; Jamil Haynes, Frank Haynes, Loyality Haynes all of Odessa, Texas. Four Daughters; Janiya Haynes Sims, Diamond Haynes, Stormi Haynes, Malonie Haynes all of Odessa, Texas. Brother: Duran Haynes, Sister: Keisha Haynes of Odessa, Texas. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A 2:00 PM Celebration of Life in honor of Shayla will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church with Pastor Windsor L. Archie officiating.
