Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, & Dear Friend,

Sylvestre R. “Neal” Garcia Jr. Mr. Garcia 69, of Odessa, Surrounded by his loving family,

passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 2, 1947

in Ozona, Texas to Sylvestre Garcia Sr. and Maria Alba. He was a Christian,

a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a retired Custodian from ECISD

after serving 33 years of Dedicated Service. He is preceded in death by parents

Sylvestre Garcia Sr. and Maria Alba, sister Minerva Garcia Jones.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his loving wife of 47 years; Hortencia M. Garcia of Odessa,

son; Steve Garcia (Belinda) of Odessa, daughter; Amanda G. Duarte (David) of Odessa,

son; Juan Manuel & (Diana) Ortiz of San Angelo Texas, Brother; Louis Garcia (Brijida) of San Antonio, Texas,

Sister; Rebecca Hines (Marvin) of Clarksville, Tennessee, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren,

and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

We, the Garcia Family, would like to take this time and express our

utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers,

floral arrangements, food, offering and especially your presence with us

during this most difficult time. A special Gratitude to Dr`s. Amaranath Ghanta,;

Dr. Abijay; The Staff of Hospice of Midland his Nurse Cindy, Especially his

Aide Soccoro & General: J. Atwater. for all the wonderful loving Care Given to our

Beloved Husband & Father May God Bless You All Abundantly.

Visitation will be held today, Friday August 12, 2016 from 8am to 9pm

with A Service of Remembrance from 7pm to 8pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.

A Service with Military Honors will be held at 10am

Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with

Donald Higginbottom officiating. An Inurnment will be held at a later date.
