

He was born September 15, 1927, in Vernon, TX, to Woody and Estelle (Bristo) Huffman. He was owner of the Huffman Company, a manufacturer of heat exchange equipment.
He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jean Huffman of Odessa, sons, Jim Huffman of Denver, CO, Dan Huffman of Odessa, stepsons, Mike Harris of Odessa, Zeb Harris of New Iberia, LA, Jay Harris of Denham Springs, LA, and Chilton Harris of Dallas, TX; stepdaughter, Bonnie McSorley of Pittsburg, PA, sister, Donna Gee and husband Roger of Abilene, TX; eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Bill graduated from high school in Oklahoma City and attended Oklahoma University where he played football.
The family expresses its appreciation to Bill’s wonderful caretakers, Jan Lacy, Brenda Rodgers, and Virginia Redman as well as the nurses and aides of the Manor Park Younger Unit and Dr. Robert Vogel, and to wonderful friends, Dee and David Pritschow of Odessa.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Bill fought the good fight with a courageous, uncomplaining and humble attitude. Our memories of his strength and giving nature will impact on our lives forever.
