Virgie Price, age 89, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Parks Methodist Retirement Center.
She was born in February 25, 1922 in Gorman, Texas to Tom and Polly Kee Boen.
She is preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Ann (Patty) Smith, son Carol Duane Blair, her parents, 6 brothers, and 4 sisters.
She is survived by a son-in-law Gaylon Smith, Friends Sue and Leon Ford and their family, 2 granddaughters Carla Cheshire and her husband Cory and Fonda Price and husband Tim. 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother John Boen and wife Sue of Anadarko, OK, Vivian Laike of West, Texas, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Virgie was a member of Eisenhower Church of Christ. She was a seamstress for many years at the Model Shop and Lallegro Fashions. After she retired from Lallegro Fashions she worked from her home. She loved her friends and customers. She will be greatly missed.
She will be in state Tuesday afternoon and evening. A service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 10 am in DeLeon, TX.
