Virginia Rose Lawrence, 84, A long time resident of Odessa passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1926 in Rogers, TX to Troy & Battie (King) Weathersbee. She was a retired telephone operator for AT&T.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Craig of Odessa, sons, Troy Lawrence of San Antonio, TX , & Ira Lawrence Jr of Flint, TX, her brother, Don Weathersbee & wife Dene of Burke, TX, (3) grandchildren, James, Brandi & Summer & (4) great-grandchildren, Lacey, Ty, Corey & April.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dennis Dillon officiating.
A Special thanks to Molly Ferguson and Marty Maldonado of Home Hospice for all their wonderful care.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Home Hospice or the Odessa Christian School.
