Our Beloved father, grandfather, and brother, was born on November 13, 1939 in Brownfield, Texas. He passed away on July 22, 2018 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter William Kennedy and Helen Cornwell, his loving wife Faith and two brothers Larry Kennedy and Charlie Kennedy. Kent is survived by three sons Michael Kennedy and wife Gay Dawn of Goldsmith, Texas, James Kennedy and wife Rhonda and Rick Kennedy and wife Tina all of Odessa, Texas, one brother Robert Kennedy of Las Vegas, Nevada. He also leaves many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and lots of loving family.
Visitation will be at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel 1700 N. Jackson Odessa, Texas on Friday July 27, 2018 from 9am- 9pm.
Funeral Service will be Saturday July 28, 2018 at 10am MST at Terpening and Son Mortuary Chapel 611 W. Grand Ave. Artesia, New Mexico Pastor Dean Maltsberger will be officating.
Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Cemetery in Arteisa, New Mexico.
