

Mr. C.I. Abraham (Kuttachen) was born to late Mr. P.I. and Elizabeth Kochitty on June 11, 1945 in Mazhukeer, Kallissery, Kerala, India. He was brought up in strict Pentecostal faith. Bro. Kuttachen accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a very young age, and thereafter took the believers baptism. The Lord filled him with His Holy Spirit and ever since he had been worshipping the Lord in spirit and truth. After he accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior, he was a faithful witness for the Lord until he was called home. On February 1, 1968, he married Mariamma as his life partner, daughter of late Mr. K.C. and Chachiamma Kuriakose, from Karikot family, Kurichi, Kerala. Mr. Abraham was employed in Bahrain from 1975 to 1991. During those years, he assisted Pastor T.T. Joseph in the ministry. In Kallissery, he was actively involved in Sunday School P.Y.P.A. (Youth). After he moved to the United States, to be closer to his family, he became an active and faithful member of I.P.C. Hebron of Oklahoma City. Here in Oklahoma, he was a true worshipper, diligent prayer warrior and an exemplary motivator. His love and unfeigned faith captured the hearts and lives of young and old. Bro. Abraham was a member of the Evangelism Department. His passion for the perishing souls was admirable. He is survived by his wife Mariamma, daughter Elizabeth Thomas(Pheby) and husband Babu Thomas, son Abraham C. Abraham(Finny) and wife Sheena, grandchildren Benita, Brinta, Briyana, Tabitha and Ezekiel. He is also survived by his siblings C.I. Thomas and wife Suja in Bahrain, and sisters Chinnamma and husband K. T. Varughese in Detroit, Mary and husband Kiriya Pillai in Thatta, Pandalam, Simoney and her late husband A. Chacko in Ranny, Kerala, Esther and her husband P. M. Joykutty in Pandalam, Kerala, and Annie and her husband Rev. Potha Varughese in Oklahoma, U.S.A. His favorite song was “Cu tZlwhn«pt]mInepw þ Cu tKlw sI«pt]mInepw, IÀ¯³ Imlf\mZ¯n þ H¯ptNÀ¶nSpw \man\n” and his continuous scripture quotation was “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4: 7-8.
