Albert Michael Hinton was born in Cedartown, Georgia to Robert and Gloria Hinton on November 25, 1950. Albert moved to England when he was very young, growing up there caused him to develop a passion for The Beatles and he was a lifelong fan. After returning to the United States he made the admirable choice of serving his country and on July 13, 1970 he joined the United States Military. He served in United States Air Force for ten years before being honorably discharged in 1980 as a Vietnam War Veteran. Later in life Mr. Hinton worked at the Oklahoma City Veteran's Medical Center as a Security Officer and as a professor at The University of Central Oklahoma where he taught philosophy and politics. He enjoyed travelling and visited 135 countries in his lifetime. Charismatic is a word that was often used to describe him as he exuberated his passion for the Catholic faith.
Albert Hinton passed away on February 9th, 2018 at the Veteran's Medical Center in Oklahoma City. May his service to his country be honored and remembered by its grateful citizens whose freedoms he fought to protect.
