Allen Keith "Skeet" Ross

Allen Keith (Skeet) Ross was born 9/25/1926 in Morris, OK to Edward Earl and Hazel Ross. He was raised in Prague OK. He served in the Navy in WWII, at Marshall Island (Hawaii) as an aircraft repairman. After being honorably discharged, he married Wanda Lee Willoughby on 12/25/1946. He moved to OKC and raised his family, working as a water well repairman and a well driller for Poindexter Water Well, later starting his own business that he ran with his son in law, Henry Lanoy until his retirement. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, his wife, Wanda and daughter, Kathy. He is survived by 2 daughters, Beverly Shirley & husband Jim Nance; Mary Lanoy & husband, Henry Lanoy; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; sister in law and brother in law, Richard and Billie Eakins & many nieces, nephews, family & friends. Special thanks to Linda Brown of Prague, Lisa of Angelic Hospice & caregivers, Sheron & Stella. Allen and his family greatly appreciate the love and dignity shown to him from these special ladies during his last weeks on Earth. Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, July 23, 2013, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family request that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
