Barbara E. Dollison

Barbara worked at Tinker Airforce Base for 33 years before she retired in 2007. She worked as a cook at flightline cafeteria, secretary, EMT, Machinist, Aircraft Fuel Mechanic and lastly a aircraft electrician.

Barbara was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Del City. She also attended Ridgecrest Church of Christ with her boyfriend, Scott. Barabara enjoyed reading, raising her dogs, and working with the Whiz Kids reading tutoring program at Ridgecrest. She loved animals and art and will always be remembered for her big heart and compassion for others.

Barbara is survived by her boyfriend, Scott Guthrie; mother, Betty Schlotter; brother, Charles; sisters, Maria and Kathy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death her father, Charles Schlotter; and sister, Sheila.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 1, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 3400 North Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.

In leu of flowers donations can be made to any local animal rescue group in Barbara’s name.
