Beatrice Florence Dozier

Bea was a long-time resident of OKC and loved her OU Sooners. She graduated from Central High School in OKC where she was a member of the Pep Club, Choir, and Drill Team. She went on to OKC Vocational School of Practical Nursing where she became President of her nursing class the second semester and graduated as an LPN in 1972.

Bea was a LPN most of her life but took a brief pause to become a truck driver with her late husband, AC Dozier. She then returned to nursing for a few years to care for children with psychiatric disabilities before her retirement.

Bea was a loving, funny, sassy, strong women who beat her battle with breast cancer. She was the coolest Gma/MawMaw ever that loved roller skating, elephants, chihuahua’s, and western movies, specifically John Wayne.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Millie Lincoln, former husband AC Dozier, brothers Jimmy and Johnnie Lincoln, sisters Jackie Doler and Peggy Burns, granddaughter Becky Pearson, and daughter in-law Scharlotte Myers.

She is survived by her children Glenda and husband Bobby Gallaway, Vickie and husband Steve Mitchell, Sharon and husband Greg Saunders, Michael Myers and wife Sandra, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bea deeply loved her entire family who will miss her and her flying monkeys dearly. Until we meet again, Dear!

A visitation for Bea will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162. A private committal service will take place at a later date.
